I punched a hole in my freezer while chipping away ice, and now the refrigerator has stopped working entirely?
I know it is a pressurized system, and some refrigerant came out. Is there any way i can fix it?
You won’t be able to fix it, but a refrigeration tech can. They can patch a section of the line and recharge the system with coolant, cheaper than buying a new fridge. Look up a HVAC company in the yellow pages and start there, they can probably give you an estimate on repair cost.
