Should I have used something in addition to acrylic paint on my hoodie?
I painted a design on a hoodie using an acrylic paint a friend recommended. I looked online for how washable this is and now I am reading about fabric mediums and other things to stick to the fabric better. I don’t want my design to wash out in the laundry. Is it too late to add anything to my shirt? Will it be alright without the extra stuff?
I’m afraid it’s not going to last well, and it may come off in flakes in the laundry and stick to everything else that you put it in with, not permanently but it would be annoying having little bits everywhere.
I’d photograph it, get some transfer paper you can put through your printer and iron it onto another hoody. (transfer paper especially for clothes). Or paint onto another hoody with fabric paints.
