What angle and width should my bindings be?
Hey,
I have a 140 lib tech board. I am 170 cm or 5 foot 6. I am a pretty intermediate rider i ride the whole mountain and can do basic rails and aerial tricks etc. My bindings are pretty basic, Dura-Tech i think the brand is. I really just want a basic set up that most riders of my abillity would use. I know it varies but what would a standard set up be? What width should my bindings be? Also what angles should they be at?
Any advice would be very helpful ![]()
Thanks
Also I am about 50 kg – 110 lbs.
I just want a rough idea of a good binding width and angles.
Thanks
For the width your reference point should be that the inside of your bindings should match up with the outside of your shoulders. i find that to be the most comfortable stance. it makes it easier to turn and easier to land off of boxes and jumps. for angles, mine are 15 and -9. however, i do a lot of switch riding. for your riding style i would say put it at about 15 on the front and -3 on the back. so both bindings are pointing a bit more towards the end they are on. for example, your front binding should be pointed towards the nose and back binding slightly towards the tail.
